Walgreens Headquarters

On or about May 1, 2017 My 84 year old elderly mother went into a Walgreens in Northeast Ohio to get her prescription filled and while she was in the store severe storms moved into the area. While she was at the counter paying for her prescriptions the power went out in the area which included the Walgreens that my mother was in. Store personal informed my mother that she was going to have to leave the store and they (Walgreens personal) pried the electric doors to the store open and sent my 84 year old mother out into what could be described as nothing less than hurricane like conditions. My mother proceeded out the door into the storm to her car were she could not get the car door open because of the high winds and pounding rain. (70 MPH winds were reported) When she did manage to get the car door open and herself into the car the wind forced the car door shut on her left leg injuring it. Therefore it is my view that Walgreens acted in total reckless disregard for my mothers safety that put her life in danger.
