USPS is seriously the worst - had a package, already delayed by two days, with "attempted delivery" but apparently there was "no access" to deliver. I know they can physically access it because we get envelopes and other mail just fine, and I was home but they didn't even bother buzzing. Note that UPS and FedEx manage just fine. Then no updates for two days, without any notification they mark the delivery as having been moved to the 60622 post office (no address listed, just that) "at request of the customer" (I made no such request). So of course I go to the post office, wait in line for 20 minutes, just to be told that no in fact I have to go to a mail holding office not this post office. I get given a slip with the address and hours of the place, which has the address listed incorrectly anyway! Thanks to Google I found the correct address, now I'm going to have to make a whole separate trip to this middle of nowhere place, which of course is only open 5 hours in the middle of the work day. Seriously USPS is just a total disaster, no wonder they're going out of business.
